Sleeping, swimming, and showering with your hair system on is completely fine and you won't experience any issues. Just make sure to use a moisturising conditioner when washing your unit as the chlorine in some pools can be harmful and dry your system out.

Will a hair system damage my scalp?
A Hair system will not damage the scalp or existing hair they are designed to be worn for long periods of time and therefore don't cause a problem in of themselves.

The lifespan of your hair system depends mostly on the type of base you pick, as each base has a different durability. For example, our ultra-thin 0.03mm skin base typically lasts around 2 months, while the mono base can last up to a year with proper care. How often you wear it and the way you maintain it also play a big role in how long it lasts.
How long can I keep the system on my head?
How long the bond lasts can vary depending on the adhesive you use, your skin type, the climate you live in, and your daily activities. To keep your system in good condition, we suggest removing and cleaning it every 1–2 weeks. If you live in a dry area and don’t sweat much, you might be able to keep it on for 3–4 weeks. However, for lace systems attached with liquid adhesive, we advise against wearing it for longer than two weeks, as cleaning becomes more difficult.
